DMCA Policy
Renovation Vision respects the intellectual property rights of others. We expect our users to do the same. This policy describes our commitment to addressing copyright infringement claims in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
We promptly respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement. Content found to infringe will be removed or access disabled. This policy applies to all materials published on renovationvision.com, including articles, images, and user-submitted content related to renovation projects.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied and made available on Renovation Vision without authorization, please send a written DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must include all the following required elements to be valid.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity. You must provide information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material on renovationvision.com.
- Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Counter-Notification Process
If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice, and you believe this removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. This allows Renovation Vision to restore the material unless the original copyright owner files a court action.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside the United States, that you consent to jurisdiction of any judicial district in which Renovation Vision may be found).
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
